About Me
I am a visiting assistant professor of marketing at the University of South Carolina's Darla Moore School of Business. I earned my Ph.D. in Marketing, specializing in consumer behavior, from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business and my bachelor degrees in Psychology and Theater from Smith College.
My research focuses on the barriers consumers face to improving their well-being. For example, I examine how consumers' well-being is directly influenced by how consumers allocate their time and money to various resources, such as self-care products and time-saving purchases.
Additionally, I examine how consumers' well-being is indirectly influenced by their social interactions and the well-being choices made on their behalf. The overarching goal of my research is to understand and identify practical solutions for how consumers can overcome challenges to improve their well-being and live happier and healthier lives.
